On the basis of working principle, computer can be classified into three types.

1.     Analog Computer

Analog Computer

-          The computer which work on natural phenomena or physical vlues are called analog computers. Such types as frequency, velocity, speed, voltage, current etc.  It is use in various place for special purpose. Example of Analog computer are: speedometer, Lesley, thermometer etc. It is less accurate, no storage capacity,

·        Analog computers are based on continuous varying data.

·        It measured only physical and natural value.

·        They are use for special purpose.

·        They have ho storage Feasibility.

·        They are less accurate.

·        They are slower and expensive than digital computers.

·        They produce more noise.

Micro Computer

Micro Computer

It is less powerful, cheaper and smaller computer mostly used in communication. It is also called home pc, personal computer, because it is single user and single processor computer. It supports multimedia, graphics, games etc. Micro computer are very popular for internet. Example: IBM pc, desktop, Laptop etc. It  has a microprocessor as its central processing unit. Personal Computer or PC can be used by the single user at a time. Monitors, keyboards and other devices are the basis of input and output for these computers. additional various input and out devices are attach in the minicomputer to interact between user and the compute. Minicomputers can be also used by multiple users with help of upgraded software or hardware. Microcomputers are mainly used to take out personal work or are in use in business organization. These computers are suitable and reliable to use.

Feature of Micro Computers

- Smallest in size and very cheap than others types of computers

- Single user and single processor.

- Multimedia facilities.

- Small storage capacity and slower than other computer.

- Mainly use for personal use.

- Use for internet, office, small business.

-  Less reliable and accurate than other.
